NEWS related to Resource Conservation:

August 2009

I am planning and building a web forum for people who are in positions to "green" their company or organization. I would like anyone who feels they can use or offer information about systems, products, programs or mechanisms that help the environment to log on and share. This will not be a "free for all" like wikipedia, but rather a moderated forum where you will need an account set up to contribute articles. Anyone will be able to add comments to the articles once posted, however, the administrator will have to approve comments. I want this to be a positive and concise point of reference. Visit the blog and select "Share Environmental Resources" on the right hand menu bar.

As I stated on the last update, there has been a lot of behind the scenes work done. I have been building this position from scratch so there has been construction of this website, research into recycling programs, energy upgrades, efficiency upgrades, irrigation research, water savings, grant research and general information gathering. I have also been visiting sites, and watching over the original solar installation at Northgate.

In an effort to involve the community, I have started a blog for communicating NEWS. To the left, under the Welcome heading there is a link to my new blog for maintaining the NEWS in a more interactive fashion. As mentioned before, specific information about systems, programs and mechanisms can be found on the "Share Environmental Resources" link from the blog.

Thank you all for your support and your input.
